AGM August

I propose we set a date for the AGM to be sometime in August and ask BCS and our auditor to have the audited accounts available in time to have the AGM within that time frame which would be considerably earlier than in recent years. It seems to me that the work needed to prepare a budget is no more difficult to do in May/June than it is to do in June/July/August and that it would make our discussions much more productive if we had time to consider any problems and/or difficult decisions that the figures may produce, before the end of the current financial year.
